Raidar 6.0 problem bug? when factory intsall with Duo v1
I recently factory reset my ReadyNas Duo v1 using the Setup options in Raidar v6.0. I wanted Raid 0 with 2 hard drives. In the Flex-Raid option I selected Raid 0 but it actually installed Raid 1 where the max storage size was the smallest disk. After doing this twice, in case I was mistaken the first time, I reverted back to Raidar 4.3.8 and got the selected Raid 0.

Did you manage to test it using other PCs/OS?

This bug doesn't surprise me, I think there is at least one similar one that has been reported. There are a couple of threads where mdgm has specifically recommended 4.3.8.

I believe they have designed the raidar 6.0 for the OS6 units and payed a little attention on the legacy units. Maybe that's the reason why it has some trouble with the older units.
