Ready NAS NVX operating system update
I'm running a nine year old ReadyNAS NVX. Recently the NAS was 90% full so I replaced the two smaller two TB drives with 3 TB drives. The expansion went fine. However, when I went to check the smart disk functions on the drives the function returned no information. Now I know that function used to work. The only thing I've done to the NAS in the past year is update the operating system for security fixes and expand the usable space this weekend. I'm currently running the following software: RAIDiator 4.2.31. Anyone know of a fix for this issue?
As an aside, the software running this board won't allow me to label this post with ReadyNAS or anything relevant to the NVX. Hence the label adding disks which isn't particularly relevant to this post. I do realize this is an old NAS and out of support, but Netgear should allow discussion of legacy hardware, especially when the problem is probably due to their own software upgrade.

That's an issue with Chrome. Try using a different browser (for instance internet explorer or edge)

They do, and it's fine not to fill out the model field, as long as you include the model in the title or the post.
And your model is there - it is the RNDX4000. I've put the label on my reply.

Re: Ready NAS NVX operating system update
Thanks for the quick reply and sorry I missed the model number in the list. You are correct that it is a chrome issue but even IE has it's issues. In this case, the login screen is hidden behind the main window and you have to move or minimize IE to sign in. So much for universal browsers!
Thanks again
