ReadyNAS 1000s - RAID Offline after disk swap
Earlier swap out of the first disk worked, but after swapping out the second one the X-RAID is offline. The system did have all HDS725050KLA360 drives, the drives being swapped in one at a time are from one of my other working 1000s.
Info & logs below:
--------------------
Model: ReadyNAS 1000S
Firmware: RAIDiator 4.1.7 [1.00a147]
Memory: 1024 MB [2.0-2-2-6]
Volume C: Offline, RAID Level , disks, 0% of 0 MB used
The paths for the shares listed below could not be found. Typically, this occurs when the ReadyNAS is unable to access the data volume. BitTorrents addons-scripts media user_home webroot backup tca addons-config

Re: ReadyNAS 1000s - RAID Offline after disk swap
Hello,
If you have a backup (as the ReadyNAS is a storage system not a backup) you can factory default and rebuild the volume with your backup. If not you will most likely have to contact support. You say swap, do you mean you were upgrading your hard drives?

You may also want to use compressed air to make sure the connections on the NAS itself and clean and free of dirt.

Re: ReadyNAS 1000s - RAID Offline after disk swap
The swapping was h/d upgrading one at a time.
I have recently replaced a fan, so the system was cleaned out then. Unfortunately I don't have a backup, since this NAS is mostly used for Torrents and temporary files before there moved to one of the main NASes. I'll check to see what can be done with supports help.
