ReadyNAS 214 not responding

 

I have Readnas 214 product

I have a problem with this smb toon+184 error

My firmware version is 6.10.2

i configured raid5 and all harddisks are healthy

no network connectivity , can't shut it down from the Power button 

no errors appear in the logs.

 

Please solve this error without Factory reset

How are you seeing the logs if you can't access the NAS?

 

If the NAS is unresponsive, you'll have to risk powering it down by either holding down the power button or by pulling the plug.

 

You can then try to restart it, and let us know if there appears to be any damage.  You can then download the full log zip file and look through.  The Netgear mods can analyze the zip for you - if you want to request that, you can send them a Private Message (use the envelope icon in the upper right of the forum page).  Include a downloadable link to the zip file (google drive, dropbox, etc).  Don't post them publicly.

Hopefully nothing will be lost if you just restart.  However, I do want to point out that if you care about your data, you do need to have at least one backup on different device.  RAID isn't enough to keep your data safe.
