ReadyNAS 312 change performance degradation percentage?
Is it possible to change at which percentage data performance gets degraded? 10% is quite much depending on the size of the disks.
And why would it degrade the performance at all when running "low" on disk? This makes my videos lagging, playing via plex running on the NAS...
Log:
Volume: Less than 10% of volume data's capacity is free. data's performance is degraded and you risk running out of usable space. To improve performance and stability, you must add capacity or make free space.

Re: ReadyNAS 312 change performance degradation percentage?
The btrfs file system does need a fair amount of free space, especially if you have snapshots enabled. You won't see much degradation of read speeds, but you can see issues with writing speed. And if the volume gets completely full, a variety of bad things can happen (including data loss).
So I suggest either freeing up some space, or expanding the volume.

Re: ReadyNAS 312 change performance degradation percentage?
You can't change that percentage. The NAS is not intentionally degrading it's performnce at that level, it is warning you thet the performance is, in fact, degraded. And it will get worse as it gets more full.
