ReadyNAS 3138 in Ready Only Mode

I removed a couple of LUNs that were no longer in use. Suddenly, all the shares became read only. The data is still there, but the permissions on the NAS web interface do not match the Active Directory permissions. I can't edit the permissions from the web interface or from Windows explorer. My users can access shares, but new data cannot be written.

I suggest downloading the log zip file. Look for some evidence of file system corruption - that would explain the NAS suddenly shifing into read-only mode.

That was indeed the case. Ended up starting a support case with Netgear. Luckily the majority of the data can still be read and copied to a server temporarily until after the factory restore.
