Re: ReadyNAS Duo won't update with latest firmware
I don't recommend 4.1.9 due to an ownership issue. That's why I suggested deleting that.

Re: ReadyNAS Duo won't update with latest firmware
If all goes well the 4.1.10 update should take place now. Just wanted to make sure you had a good copy of the firmware update.

Nope, it doesn't look like it has. It seems to have just rebooted as normal and that's it.

The first command went in immediately. Then I typed reboot and it rebooted as normal.

See the file /.cf_update_in_progres ? Like I suspected you make a mistake entering the command. There should be two s's in progress.

Re: ReadyNAS Duo won't update with latest firmware
The unit would also come and go from RAIDar (http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20684/). If you use RAIDar quick enough you should see updating (or something like that) in the Info (far right) column.
