The masquerade address is set in the FTP server settings.  Can you try clearing that field and see if the error disappears?

Re: ReadyNAS Error Code 15002020814 - Invalid masquerade address

Hi StephenB,

thanks a lot, change the settings in FTP service solved my problem.

But the major problem was, that i was change the name of NAS and in the FTP settings was enabled masquerade address with old name of NAS. This is silly, because if the masquerade address must be still same as name of NAS it would be better, that this settings will automaticaly change witch the modifiing of NAS name. And the second funny thing is, why the error message is displayed when i want change other services then FTP. Nevermind.

Once more thanks.

Re: ReadyNAS Error Code 15002020814 - Invalid masquerade address

The masquerade address should only be set if you want remote access with FTP.  Even there, several clients don't need it (including FileZilla).

If you don't need it, it's best to not specify one.

if you do need it, it is set to the external IP address (e.g., your router's WAN address).  Normally that would be done by entering the DDNS name for your router, not the hostname for your NAS.
