ReadyNAS NV+ (Sparc) RAIDiator 4.1.9 USB flash recovery
Does anyone know if a RAIDiator 4.1.9 USB flash recovery image is available? I found a 4.1.8 flash image referenced in the wiki page below:
http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_can_i_perform_a_boot_recovery_using_a_usb_flash_device
Download link: http://www.readynas.com/download/support/ReadyNAS_USB_Flash_Recovery-4.1.8.img
I realize RAIDiator 4.1.9 was just released on 30June'12. I have two of the ReadNAS NV+ (Sparc) units, each populated with 1TB drives; and it seems that RAIDiator 4.1.7 is the best performing (ethernet transfer speed) and works with my Mac (running Lion 10.7.4) via AFP and PC's running Windows 7 x64. I have intermittent problems with the ReadyNAS remote service (green radio button goes on and off) and I would like to rsync the two and blow away one unit with a fresh install.
Thank you,
c3nav1

Re: ReadyNAS NV+ (Sparc) RAIDiator 4.1.9 USB flash recovery
Why do you need a USB Flash Recovery image? USB Boot Recovery should only be used when the boot menu doesn't work and the NAS won't boot.
You can get the normal 4.1.9 image here: http://www.readynas.com/RAIDiator_4_1_9_Notes
