ReadyNAS NV+ v2 adding 3rd drive volume problem...
Installed the first two drives in my NV+ without a problem, with full disk capacity recognised and available, all running Raid 0, but when I added Disk 3, which is a nominal 3TB capacity Seagate, on the disk compatability list, only a small 746GB volume appears and the rest of the disk space is missing/unavailable.
How do I add & access the other volume on disk 3, which is acknowleged as present by Windows disk management software interogation if I plug the drive into a usb sata interface card?
Disk 1 - Seagate ST2000DM001-1CH164 [1863 GB]
Disk 2 - WDC WD20EARX-00PASB0 [1863 GB]
Disk 3 - Seagate ST3000DM001-1CH166 [746 GB]

Re: ReadyNAS NV+ v2 adding 3rd drive volume problem...
You almost certainly have an NV+ v1, which is limited to 2 TB drives.
The easiest way to confirm this is to check the firmware. 4.1.x is for the v1, 5.x.x is for the v2. There are more details here: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/
Assuming I am correct on the platform - there is no workaround. The v1 doesn't support GPT formatting.

You are correct, firmware version is 4.1.14, after recent update.
Interesting link, especially info on rear stickers found on these boxes 🙂
Thanks for your help.
