ReadyNAS Pro 6 / OS6 6.2.4: fan warnig message
Hi,
I have upgraded my Pro6 with OS 6.2.4 and all seems to be working well apart that each time I boot the NAS, after 1 or 2 minutes, I received the following warning message in the log: Fan 'Fan' in enclosure 'Internal' speed is below threshold. (0 rpm).
Please can someone guide me how I might be able to resolve this issue?
Thank you!

Can you send me your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?
Had you used SSH on older OS6 firmware to try and do fan control?

Thank you for your answer!
I'll send you the logs later in the day.
No SSH to do fan control (upgraded from 4.2.X to 6.2.4). I did a factory default after the upgrade and restored all data from the backup.

My pro 6 does the same thing once in a while (not just on reboot). It's been benign so far.

Re: ReadyNAS Pro 6 / OS6 6.2.4: fan warnig message
Are these two issues the rule or the exception.
I'm on the verge of moving from OS4 to OS6 on my Pro 6 for the reason of the available bit rot protection.
My Pro 6 is used as a music streamer using LMS meaning my flac files are tyically write once read many. As I like to make sure my music collection does not detoriate over the years, bit rot protection seems the right solution (and better than periodic disk scrubbing).
Needless to say that I don't want to win on bit rot protection and lose on disk temp issues.
Thanks in advance for your response.
