ReadyNAS Replicate

I am having issues backing up my NAS using ReadyNAS Replicate.  I am using a ReadyNAS 2120 v6.4.0.  When I turn the service on, my NAS gets unresponsive.  I am unable to do any kinds of backups (usb or network).  I can no longer access files on the NAS either.  I have to manually power off the device.  I currently have the service turned off so that I can access the files on my system.

What can I do to enable this service and have it not make it unaccessable?

Re: ReadyNAS Replicate

Hello motts1983,

May we I ask if there are other apps running on the NAS? And if you were getting this same results prior to updating to 6.4.0.

Regards,

Re: ReadyNAS Replicate

I am running the app SMB Plus.  I did not have this issue when I was on 6.4.0.  I am currently locked out of my dashboard and the only way to access it is to power cycle the device.

Re: ReadyNAS Replicate

Hello motts1983,

Is it when you enable ReadyNAS Replicate or the ReadyCloud? If ReadyNAS Replicate, is the ReadyCloud enabled too?

After power cycling the NAS, does it revert the ReadyNAS Replicate and ReadyCloud to disabled?

When both are disabled, do you get any trouble using the NAS?

Re: ReadyNAS Replicate

I started with Replicate, Cloud, and Remote enabled.  I have turned off all but replicate and tried it then.  My unit still locked up.  Now I turned off Replicate and I am having issues even backing up to a desktop portable hard drive connected through the top usb port in the back.
