[ReadyNas 104] Please remove inactive volumes...#24636373
Hi all,
My configuration is the following :
ReadyNas 104 running 6.2.2
4*TB drives set up as one Raid 5 Volumes.
I received a first message saying that the volume was degraded and it had an issue with disk2.
After a restart it's now saying ' Please remove inactive volumes in order to use the disk. Disk #1,2,3,4"
See the attached picture http://imageshack.com/a/img537/1396/qEL2T2.png
I cannot access the volume anymore on any computer.
Even thought there's an issue with one of the drives the issue seems somewhere else as I should still have access to the volume even with one disk no working correctly.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Do you have a backup?
Can you send me your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?

Thanks for your reply.
I've just sent them.
No I don't have a full backup. Keeping the data would be nice but it's no obligation. I'd just be more interested in a proper technical resolution, also from a personal interest 🙂

Disk 2 was already showing signs it was failing/bad when you last did a factory default in December 2013.
I think you would be best to contact support again if you wish to purchase the additional support needed for looking into this.
