ReadyNas 104 failure after rebuilding
Hi!
My system:
ReadyNas 104
Firmware 6.9.3
HDD: 4 x 2 Tb model ST2000DM001- 1ER164
the hdd number 2 failed; so I have replaced it with a 2 Tb ST2000DM006- 2DM164
After poweron the rebuild process starts for more than 8 hours during the night.
Finaly i've got a message on the lcd display: data DEAD
Now it's like my readynas is totally empty.
If needed i can send all the logs files. (i have tried here but zip files are not accepted)
Any help will be appreciated, to know how to repair the system and recover my datas
Ronald

Re: ReadyNas 104 failure after rebuilding
Try PMing the netgear mods and ask (private message) if they are willing to review your logs. @JohnCM_S or @Marc_V are two possibilities.
Don't post links to your log zip file here, as there is some information in them that could compromise privacy.
It sounds like you will need RAID recovery. Netgear offers a service for that: https://kb.netgear.com/69/ReadyNAS-Data-Recovery-Diagnostics-Scope-of-Service There is also a software package from ReclaiMe that several users here have used successfully.
