ReadyNas 214 file transfer question
Hi everyone. I am looking at buying a nas device for my plex server. Right now i am using an old laptop, but would like to move to Nas. My question is, Ii have 2 4tb drives and 1 2tb drive (I ripped my entire dvd/blu-ray library because i have changing discs lol). I've read that you need a formatted hdd, but how would I move all my files over to the NAS. Also, i've been researching on youtube about how to install the hdd's, but they all use 3.5" and i alll the ones i have are 2.5". will these fit into the trays?

Re: ReadyNas 214 file transfer question
2.5" disk can be installed on NAS trays, there are screw holes for 2.5 disk on the tray.
If all your disks are used on other produce (not ReadyNAS 100 or 200 series), it must format after install on RN214, because ReadyNAS has different partition and filesystem (btrfs),

You can transfer the data via USB.
