ReadyNas 314 Firmware Download

I need to update firmware for readynas RN314 but I keep being directed on Netgears support site to a .img file which reports being corrupt. 

It will not mount
It will not convert to iso

How to I get the latest firmware.    This seems a lot more difficult than it needs to be.

Use the OS reinstall boot menu option. See pages 74-75 here:

That will

• reset the admin password to password
• reset the ethernet settings to use DHCP with no bonding
• disalbe volume quota (which can be turned back on from the volume settings wheel).

You don't mount it nor convert it to ISO, you install it in the NAS from the Systems/Settings page of the GUI.

I can't get to the system settings because I cannot log into it. I'm trying to reset the admin password.
