ReadyNas Duo 102 Installation Problem
Hi everybody,
I've just bought a ReadyNas Duo with 2x 3TB WD hard disk supported from the device.
I've also installed the Raidar sw (version 4.3.8 ) and put my pc in fixed IP 192.168.168.x directly connected to the Ready NAS.
I've installed the 2 HD and powered on the NAS.
The Act, Led1 and Led2 are stable but the power button are blinking and still continue to flash also after 8 hours.
Raidar do not see the NAS and pinging the IP of the NAS (192.168.168.168) do not give any results.
Have you got some suggestion?
Is supposed that I externally format the HDD before?
I do not know how to move on because I can't think to do any other test.
Thanks
Matteo

Do you think could be just a factory reset problems?
It sounds really strange to me because it's a never used products....like the HDD as well.

If the disks came preformatted a factory default would be needed.

Re: ReadyNas Duo 102 Installation Problem
I've just started the factory default process.
How long does it could take? How Can I know that it ended with success?
After the factory default reset procedure, what can I do.
Thanks

Re: ReadyNas Duo 102 Installation Problem
Hi all
it seems to fully work with just a factory default!
I'm wondering why Netgear do not suggest to do it when a customer is using a brand new HDD!!
