ReadyNas Duo - Blue Light Blinking & unavailable on network
My ReadyNas duo has been blinking for over two weeks and its just not available on the network.
I tried restarting my ReadyNas Duo multiple times and exactly the same issue. I also tried with different Ethernet cable to ensure that there is no issue with the Ethernet cable.
I then ran Raidar on my pc to Browse ReadyNas Duo and Browse button is greyed out. I cannot also access ReadyNas duo via the IP address and ping also does not work.
I have two hdd and both the lights are showing as GREEN in Raidar and File System Check is 100%.
What could be the issue?? Please assist.

Thanks

Re: ReadyNas Duo - Blue Light Blinking & unavailable on netw
Could be issues with the filesystem.
Do you have a backup?

NB: A ReadyNas is not an excuse not to have a backup. Fire, theft, multiple disk failures, other hardware failure, floods, user negligence etc. can all result in loss of data.

Also, is the NAS IP address on the same subnet as the PC? If you are using private addresses (10.x.x.x or 192.168.x.x) addresses, it is safe to share them, as they are not routable over the internet.

Thanks for the response Stephen... Yes, it is a 192 IP address.
I do not have a backup - but the Raidar System says that file system is 100% and lights are green?

Perhaps try skipping the volume check: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/21411
Then if it boots up open an online support case and attach your logs zip file (System > Logs > Download all logs).
Support will probably direct you back here, but attaching them there will help to keep track of the issues you've had with your system.
