ReadyNas Pro 2 Bios update
Hi everybody,
I actually have a readynas Pro 2 (RNDP2000) with OS6.4.1. installed.
My BIOS is rev 080016 from 09/08/2010.
Where can I find Bios update file, & how can i update the bios ? I saw that with OS6 I have to update over ssh.
Is there somebody already update bios through ssh ? and with witch package?
Thank you.

Re: ReadyNas Pro 2 Bios update
Whilst you can do that, it's certainly easier to just install the add-on on 4.2.x
You would need to extract the contents of the add-on, install flashrom and manually run the command to do it via SSH on OS6.

Re: ReadyNas Pro 2 Bios update
I saw this post, full of information !
I found some bios update process for pro pioneer RNDP600E
My question is : Are Pro 2 and Pro 6 pioneer based on the same architecure.
Can I update bios through the same process or it will brick my NAS ?

Re: ReadyNas Pro 2 Bios update
The Pro 2 uses a different BIOS but the ROM is included in the same add-on. You would need to use the command to install the Ultra/Pro 2 BIOS, not the Pro Pioneer/Pro BE/Pro 6 BIOS
