Likely this is a full OS partition. If you are the original purchaser you can contact paid support (my.netgear.com). You'd boot it into tech support mode (which should work), and they would fix it remotely. If you go this route, ask about per-incident support. Note that you don't want Gearhead support for this.
If you are skilled with the linux command line interface, you could also try to fix this yourself. But this is not a good time to learn linux.
