Readydlna not updating?

How often does it update for new media ? I have an external 1tb hp drive attached to a duo v2 . It seems when ever I put a new media file on it I need to turn off then on readydlna. Last night put 2 new mkv files and this morning still needed to turn readydlna off and then on for the share.

Having same problem, frustrating because it has to rescan terabytes of information when I manually scan.

Me too. My ReadyDLNA no longer autoscans, no matter how I tick the box, start/stop services, reboot the NAS. Whenever I add content, I have to do a manual rescan, which takes hours across terabytes of media.

I wish there was a solution to this.

Same problem. Very frustrating. No help from ReadyNAS support... just had my issue closed too.
