Readynas 104 raid expansion failure
hi all,
I recently added a new drive and expanded the raid on my readynas 104 but after few hours or so i get an error message on the LED display "mv_xor_clean_completed_slots+44". I can't ping or SSH the device - what do i do? I don't have backups.
Any help from the community?
Thanks

Re: Readynas 104 raid expansion failure
Which firmware is on the unit? I assume it is probably a 6.5.x release?
Can you reboot the unit and update to ReadyNASOS 6.5.2-T500 (Beta 2) ?

Re: Readynas 104 raid expansion failure
You have no choice. The system has hung. The resync should resume where it left off or start again from scratch. If this is the problem I think it is there is a fix in the beta I mentioned,

Re: Readynas 104 raid expansion failure
Thanks. I've unplugged the power from the unit and then replugged it back in.
The system is back online and data is resync'ing - thanks for your help.
I'll update the system to the beta version once the data is sync'd to 100%
