Readynas 3200 firmware to 6.9.0

I have a ReadyNAS 3200 RN12P0000 with 12HDDx2Tb, installed version 4.2.31. Can I install os 6.9.0 and how to do it correctly if possible?
And what drives are better to use, and then with theseSeagate ST2000DM001-9YN164 constantly problems?

In my opinion, you should be using enterprise-class drives in a 12-bay NAS. For instance WDC Red Pro, WDC Gold, or Seagate Ironwolf Pro.
