Hi
I have three 3tb drives in my nas and two of them gave me messages of an SMART errors. I decided to change the disks and perfomed a hot swap with disk 2. All seemed good at the beginning, but i noticed today that some of the files went missing. I perfomed a reboot - now i can't access the share anymore.
Raidar tells me that everything is ok, the disks seem to be in a reasonably healthy condition. Well, not sure...
Any help would be very appreciated.
Here is a copy/paste from the log:

If the failed disk is used in a RAID level 1, 5, or X-RAID volume, please note that volume is now unprotected, and an additional disk failure may render that volume dead. If this disk is a part of a RAID 10 volume, your volume is still protected if more than half of the disks alive. But another failure of disks been marked may render that volume dead. It is recommended that you replace the failed disk as soon as possible to maintain optimal protection of your volume.

A disk was removed from the ReadyNAS. One or more RAID volumes are currently unprotected, and an additional disk failure or removal may result in data loss. Please add a replacement disk as soon as possible.

This might fail, but it is likely your only option (other than data recovery).
You can try powering down, and then replacing disk 2 - then powering up. Don't do a hot-swap.

Re: Readynas nv+ v2 - The paths for the shares listed below could not be found.
Well the disk that was really in bad shape was disk 1 (over 7500 reallocated sectors). Replacing disk 2 was likely a mistake - since it would be trying to resync from disks 1 and 3.
Are only some files missing? If so suggest doing a backup of the data to another device right away. It would be wise to reboot the NAS in read-only mode before you try that.
FWIW, I replace my disks when the reallocated+pending sector count reaches 50.

What would be the next steps? Backup the files, trash the two faulty disks, reset the entire NAS or just bin it?

Back up the NAS, and then replace disk 1. I think that will resync ok. Then replace disk 3.
Seagate Ironwolf and WDC Reds are much better choices for your NV+ than Seagate DM drives.
