Realtek driver update fixed all performance issues
Hi Guys,
Just thought this was worth noting somewhere on the forums.
I bought and have been using a ReadyNAS Duo for the last week and unfortunately had been receiving many issues with constant cutting out and stalling.
Setup:
windows 7 64bit,
RAIDiator 4.1.6,
GA-MA790X-UD4 mobo online nic (realtek)
Searching the forums and trying to fix the problem most seemed to suggest it was windows 7 or 4.1.6 causing the problems and I have never had any issues before with the nic. Long story short, on upgrading the realtek lan driver from 6.x to the latest 7.018 ALL performance issues have gone. happy.
driver was available from here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3002#dl

Re: Realtek driver update fixed all performance issues
With Realtek updating their driver makes me wonder if you should withhold releasing your code. Since they were so reluctant to update their driver I'd hate for all your work to be consumed by them. Why let them benefit
