Remove inactive volumes to use the disk. Disk 1,2,3.
After a reboot, our shares and volumes have disappeared.
Log shows error: Remove inactive volumes to use the disk. Disk 1,2,3.
There are no errors or warnings in logs for any date within the last 30 days before that.
We run weekly scrubs, disk checks and disk balance. No errors for any of them.
Is this a firmware bug?
How can we prevent a recurrence of such an unexpected issue.
We recently retired a ReadyNAS NX+ after 8 plus years of service.
Never had a single instance of ANY data loss of any kind.
I am wondering if it's time to move away from NetGear storage.
Seems reliability is no longer what it was.

Can you send in your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?

Re: Remove inactive volumes to use the disk. Disk 1,2,3.
graniteweb, your logs show that your volume is called 'DATA' but that the system is expecting a volume called 'data'. It appears your data volume is mounted fine.
I have sent you a PM.

I have the same problem exactly running firmware 6.6.1... Any help?
