Resetting DLNA cache on a Duo v2 (arm - RAIDiator 5.3.11 )

Trying to reset the cache so that the file sorting will be by file name on my Panasonic TV, but I'm not sure how to do this. Is there a guide/FAQ that I've missed?

I don't think this has anything to do with a cache (assuming you are using DLNA with the Panasonic). The client (e.g. Panasonic) requests the file sorting it wants. The NAS generally honors that, but is supposed to override the sort order for some devices (including some Panasonic) in order to prevent the date sorting annoyance you are likely seeing.

You might be running the current ReadyDLNA, but perhaps try updating from here: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detai ... 01%2F16%5D

There is some more information here: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=69439#p415659 (though that fix requires use of ssh).

You can of course restart the NAS and the TV, and you can also do a manual library scan from the NAS web ui.

There is a newer version of ReadyDLNA than the one on kb.netgear.com in this thread: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=27946

And there are some more panasonic fixes in the newer version...

kb.netgear.com should be updated.

How do I initiate the manual library scan? I haven't seen any options in the NAS web UI so far for it.

As for SSH'ing into the server, I've tried that using putty and it said connection refused.

I've already installed this update.

The NAS will refuse the connection unless you install the enablerootssh addon (http://www.readynas.com/?p=4203)

I'm not a v2 owner, so I am not sure where in the UI you can initiate a manual scan.
