Restoring Data from ReadyNas NV+ (4 Disk X-Raid)
Hello guys,
unfortunately my good old ReadyNas NV+ refused to boot up anymore and I have to send it back to Netgear (warranty). I suspect the problem it is the power supply, which was already replaced twice in the last 4 years.
The problem is, that my backup was not exactly very up to date and I really need to access my data. I run it with X-raid with 4 Disks (4x1.5 TB) and I wonder if there is any way I could access the data by mounting the HDDs in a PC and using any kind of linux or Virtual Machine to acess the raid again. Unfortunately I have no experience with Linux so far. All articles I could find just deal with recovering from a ReadyNas Duo.
I'd be greatful for any suggestions 🙂
With snowy greetings from Germany!

It should be the same process as for the Duo. Connect your four disks up to your PC and mount your array using Linux.
