Scenario Question: Browser Initiated Copy and Move actions
I have a question regarding Copy and Move operations initiated from a browser.
If I copy a large amount of data between devices (external USB) or shares using the browser, does the browser need to remain open for the operation to complete?
I realize that if I was moving local files to the NAS from the browser then the browser would be need to remain open. Does a local (internal?) operation, initiated from the browser, require the browser session to remain open?
Thanks.

Re: Scenario Question: Browser Initiated Copy and Move actio
If you want to copy data in the background, setting up a backup job is best way. Then you can start it from the browser, and exit. When it completes, there will be a notification and a log.
