Shares lost - paths for the shares listed below could not..
I've raised Case 20705270 .
Overnight one of our systems went from working A+ to
Mon Mar 4 09:01:43 EST 2013 The paths for the shares listed below could not be found. Typically, this occurs when the ReadyNAS is unable to access the data volume. ...
Mon Mar 4 09:00:17 EST 2013 Volume scan failed to run properly.
Mon Mar 4 08:30:24 EST 2013 Rebooting device...
Mon Mar 4 08:30:24 EST 2013 Please close this browser session and use RAIDar to reconnect to the device. System rebooting...
Here I rebooted per the msg below sent to my e-mail
Mon Mar 4 00:25:00 EST 2013 The on-line filesystem consistency check detected problems with your data volume. Please reboot the system with the volume scan checkbox enabled to do a full filesystem consistency check and repair.
Mon Mar 4 00:00:02 EST 2013 The on-line filesystem consistency check has started for Volume C.
There are 4 Hitachi HDS723030ALA640 3TB drives on this unit (an NVX). All seem functional
The Volume status reports as 100% - which it was not before this incident.
F/w is 4.2.22
There was a scrub performed on the unit just 1 day previous. No problems were reported then.
We have a backup (another NAS mirroring the content). But it always makes me nervous being down to just 1 copy of our data (which is substantial).
Any help appreciated - or should I just wait for tech to get to me?
Thanks, Karl
