Start or stop a service always returns Service Operation Failed
If I try to start or stop any service on the Settings page, I always get this error: “Service operation failed, unable to start or modify service”.
If I try to change the admin password on the same Settings pages, I always get this error: “Error, Error exporting admin account info”.
- I'm using a RN516 with ReadyNASOS 6.9.1
- The started services are SMB, AFP, Rsync, HTTP, HTTPS, Antivirus.
- Rebooting my NAS and/or MacBookPro does not fix it.
- Safari or Firefox browsers show the same results (logged as admin).
- I cannot upgrade ReadyNASOS to the latest version because it requires the Antivirus to be disabled (see my other post).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rebooting my NAS several times over the last past couple of days eventually cleared the issue. I can now start or stop a service.
