Strange boot behavour after memory upgrade RND4000 NV+ V1
I know this is an old device (RND4000 NV+ silver chassis), but if anyone can help me out here !!
Using the SODIMM that came installed in the device (PC3200 256MB) the system is fine - and passes memory test.
Put a PC2700 SODIMM 512Mb in, and although it quite happily passes a memory test, it wont get past ""Booting...". Skip volume check doesn't achieve anything either.
any suggestions please ?
Model: RND4000 (ReadyNAS NV+ v1)|READYNAS NV+ v1 (DISKLESS)|EOL

If it still boots with the original RAM, I think your only option is to stick with that (or try a different RAM part).
The NV+ v1 does have a reputation on being rather fussy on memory.
