System Volume root's usage is 95%
RN102, Software 6.10.2 No anti-virus installed at this time.
I am seeing what appears to be a familar message. I have read all the issues I could find regarding other folks having this issue. I looked at the AV and deleted the few tmp files I saw there. That deletion got me down to 95% from 97% as there weren't really many files there of any size. Looking at my System I see the following:
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/md0 3.7G 1000M 2.5G 29% /
/dev/md127 2.8T 1.2T 1.6T 43% /data
/dev/md127 2.8T 1.2T 1.6T 43% /home
/dev/md127 2.8T 1.2T 1.6T 43% /apps
I have attached a picture with all the rest of the information that this command produced. Why am I getting the error regarding the System, when to me it looks like there is plenty of space?
thanks

Re: System Volume root's usage is 95%
It does look like there is plenty of space at the moment.
- Is it possible that something was filling the OS when the error was generated?
- What apps are installed on the NAS?
One thing you could try is remounting the OS partition as /mnt. That will let you look "under" the mount points in //
You do that with
# mount --bind / /mnt
then search throuh /mnt. When done, you unmount with
# umount /mnt
