Hi There
I am very new to all this. I am not a programmer and a newbie in terms of computing. I have a Ready NAS duo V2. I am using the DNLA to drive a Linn DS. The problem I have is some of the album covers appear three times with just one song in two of them and the rest of the album in the final one. The other issue is that some songs seem to be duplicated?? I understand that this may be due to incorrect tags? Can anyone tell me how to edit these to correct things? Sorry but as I said I am not really up to speed with computing and need very simple instructions.
many thanks

This can happen if you have had these problem files stored in multiple locations within your music library. I recommend that you first try to "Rescan media files" in the ReadyDLNA Media Server on the NAS. (On my Ultra, I can force a Rescan via the web admin under Services > Streaming Services.). If this doesn't help then look thru your music folders on the NAS to find any duplicate folders or files.
A great "donation-ware" tool for editing metadata tags on various encoded music files is "MP3Tag" (www.mp3tag.de/en/). To keep things easy, I would just pull any problematic album folders (and music files) back to your PC from the NAS and have MP3tag work on these folders on your PC. MP3Tag will show every metadata tag for all the files in the folder so you can modify any problem tags quickly before moving them back to the NAS.
Also, check out "Bliss" (blisshq.com) for help with managing your music files & folders as well as locating missing album artwork. Bliss can be installed on the NAS, gets updates on a regular schedule, and is very affordable. The programs' developer also publishes an excellent blog on managing music libraries- (http://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/index.html).
