Time Machine backups no longer working
ReadyNAS 2120, firmware 6.10.7, Mac 10.15.7
3 Days ago my Time Machine backups stopped working. My Mac says:
The backup disk image “/Volumes/.timemachine/RNAS._smb._tcp.local./{redacted UUID}/timemachine/solid.backupbundle” could not be accessed (error 112).
I updated firmware on the ReadyNAS, rebooted my router, replaced my wifi access point and rebooted my Mac and none of these
has brought it back. I also switched the Time Machine protocol from AFP to SMB on the ReadyNAS and got the same error.
The Mac has the latest version of Catalina: 10.15.7, which has not been changed for years (according to my limited research). I have an older mini and this is the latest OS it can run.
