USB reload on RND2000v1

I have been trying to do a USB recovery on my Readynas.  The instructions say to insert the USB stick and then hold the power in for 20 seconds and wait for the lights to blink.  My unit comes on and shuts off if I hold the unit. I have lost the password is why I am trying to do this. holding the reset in back does not appear to help so I have resorted to USB.  I can't find instructions on TFTP

Model: RND2000v1 (ReadyNAS Duo v1)|READYNAS DUO v1 (DISKLESS)|EOL

Perhaps review Page2 23-24 of the Hardware Manual HERE

EDIT - should have been pages 15-16 for the RND2000.

@bedlam1 should have referred you to pages 15-16 (which I think you should have known if you'd looked at the table of contents).

This worked for me.

It's dangerous to use instructions for the wrong platform, especially on a 2-bay model with no LCD screen.  If you are lucky, it will just fail.  If you aren't so lucky you can lose data.

What firmware are you running on your NAS?

@bedlam1: I can't do that, but I can (and did) edit it.
