Unable to remove read-only flag from a shared folder
Hi,
I've a shared folder on my ready nas 10200.
If I look the folder properties from explorer (windows 10) i see that the read-only flag is set. If I remove it and click on apply, I say yes for applying on all file and subfolders, the flag is not removed. If I look again the folder properties, the flag is set yet.
What I can do to remove the read-only flag from a folder shared by the NAS?
Thanks a lot
carlo

Re: Unable to remove read-only flag from a shared folder
Have you tried this same experiment on a folder stored on the PC? I think you'll find that has the same behavior.

Are you trying to apply network or file access permissions on a share over SMB in Local User mode? You might want to consider making this change through the UI and not Explorer.
