Unable to see new volume size

Hello All,
=============================================================================
Disk 2 WDC WD20EARS-00MVWB0 1862 GB , 30 C / 86 F , Write-cache ON OK
Disk 4 WDC WD20EARS-00MVWB0 1862 GB , 28 C / 82 F , Write-cache ON

Model: ReadyNAS NV [X-RAID]
Serial: 000da2010164
Firmware: RAIDiator 4.1.7 [1.00a043]
Memory: 512 MB [2.5-3-3-7]
IPv4 address:: 192.168.0.110
Volume C: Online, X-RAID, Single disk, 0% of 1848 GB used
=============================================================================
I added the 2nd disk of same size (2TB) and the led light as well as web page shows 2 drives. But the above status shows i' using single disk and also in status page, it warns me that it could lead to failure due to missing redundant disk.

It has been more than 12 hours now and I still see same status, no status emails as of now.

I added the first disk 2TB, i set it up volumes etc (no data at all) and then added 2nd disk. Syncing new data should not be a problem for 0 byte data on both disks.

Please help me combine those 2 2TB disks. Thanks.

Re: Unable to see new volume size

can you open a tech support case? you can also try check the health tab and get the information of what the disk is doing.

You may also boot to factory default since there is no data in the NAS.

Re: Unable to see new volume size

Thank you amac27. I did factory reset and now I got both disks in X-Raid setup.
