Undoing RAID
I currently have 4 hard drives in my ReadyNAS Pro 6 in a RAID 1 configuration (So it's basically like having 2 drives). I want to undo RAID and format the mirrored drives. How can I do this without disrupting the data on the 2 main drives?

Re: Undoing RAID
You must be using flexraid as that is an unusual setup.
What does the volume tab say in Frontview?
The only way to preserve the data and change the raid type will be to backup your data elsewhere, do what you want with the nas, then restore the data.
I assume you want to create 2 unprotected volumes? This is not a good idea if each volume spans 2 disks.
Perhaps explain what it is that you want to achieve.
What firmware are you running?

Re: Undoing RAID
I want to gain back the storage on the mirrored drives and put additional files on them.

Re: Undoing RAID
Yes that's what I thought.
As I said, you will need to backup the data, setup the nas as you want it, then restore the data.
I would devise you to setup each of the 4 disks as a volume(that is have 4 volumes) if you have volumes spanning multiple disks, you will lose all the data on that volume if only 1 disk fails.
You should backup the data comprehensively with your proposed setup.
