I decided to upgrade my duo v1 from RAIDiator 4.1.10 to 4.1.12 but got the error message "Firmware update failed verifying flash.". The behaviour is basically the same as the one described in: #19255699 - Frontview local and remote upgrades do not finish (FV continues to report 4.1.10). - USB recovery ReadyNAS_USB_Flash_Recovery-4.1.12.img does not complete and ends with all leds blinking simultaneously (all 5). - USB recovery ReadyNAS_USB_Flash_Recovery-4.1.10.img gets the duo back to life. But as soon as I reboot it goes to LED HDD1+HDD2+PWR slow blink.
My system is no longer supported, though this was RMA a year ago (and never got an upgrade). I am afraid to upgrade/reboot/do anything. Proceeding to my second full backup now!
