Upgrade memory in 528X

Ok, I have the memory, can someone tell me how to get to the damn memory sockets? It was so easy in my pro 6. I mean, how hard can this be? Thanks to all that help!

Re: Upgrade memory in 528X

I will check, but I'm not so sure the 52xx is the same animal. No cpu upgrade possible in 52xx, just 51xx. Hindsight is a **bleep**. 52xx goes to 64GB, which will be done when I find the damn memory.

Thank you for your response, it is a nudge in the right direction.

Re: Upgrade memory in 528X

@TeknoJnky has upgraded his ( https://community.netgear.com/t5/New-ReadyNAS-Users-General/528x-ram-memory-upgrades/m-p/1424481#M17... ) so maybe try sending him a PM.

It'd be good to see a "how to" here - so please consider posting one when you get it sorted out.

Re: Upgrade memory in 528X

Naturally.  I like it when someone else already figured it out.

I went through the school of hard knocks with an Ultra 4 and Pro 6.  THAT I can help with,
