Vlan tagging not working Readynas Pro 6 running OS 6.9.4
Configured my Readynas for Ethernet Bonding (Bond0) - Works great.
Configured Vlans 5 & 6 for tagging (Bond0.5, Bond0.6), in order to give my NAS multiple IPs (SMB multichannel) and also separate traffic. Vlan tagging is not working.
Troubleshooting done:
1. Tested the switch side Vlan tagging config (same & different ports as the NAS) with a raspberry pi - Works great, with both physical single interface and bonded interfaces.
2. Tested the NAS with single interface vlan tagging (eth0) in case there was a bug with Bond interfaces. Didn't work.
3. tcpdump on the tagged interfaces (Bond0.5 & 0.6) shows only egress traffic leaving the interface. Looks like ingress tagged traffic is not being processed by the interface (hence the reason for it not to work)
Can anyone please help, point me in the right direction? I know enough to be dangeours in the linux cli, so willing to verify vlan config/packages, etc via cli.
thx.
