Volume Degraded

Hi,

I have a degraded volume and the raid-5 is not working any more. All the drives are set as spare - no disk i showing signs of degrading (no disk is showing any alerts)

I've started a disk test, but have no idea how long it will take?

It seems to me that the raid has gone down and not any of the disks.

What should I do? Is it possible to rebuild the raid again?

Firmware: 6.10.3

3 x 4 TB Western Digital Red - made for NAS drives

4 out of 7 TB are used (in the Raid).

Snapshots: 12.6 GB

I do have a spare drive but I cannot put it in when I do not know which one is degraded (if any are degraded). A similar thing happend to me 3 years ago and after scrubbing and balancing 2 drives went down and I had to have proffesional help.

I do have an backup on a spare 8 GB drive.

Model: RN51600|ReadyNAS 516 6-Bay Diskless

Re: Volume Degraded

The volume is degraded.

Can you download the full log zip file and look in mdstat.log?  You can copy/paste it into a post here if you need help understanding it.
