Hi, all,
I am upgrading my Pioneer Pro to OS6 (hopefully). I see from the forums that upgrading the RAM is also advised. Could someone tell me the max RAM and HD sizes that can be used?
Thanks,
Greg

Max RAM is 8 GB. Though that is expensive (4 GB ddr2 memory isn't common). Adding 1 GB is enough to bring it up to what is in the RN424. The 520x series (and the RN426) have 4 GB total.
OS-6 has no known limit on hard disk size.

To be precise, 4GB low density (2Rx8), unregistered, non-ECC, DDR2 memory, which is what you would need, is uncommon.
High density (2Rx4, sometimes labled "AMD only") and server (ECC and/or registered) memory is a bit more common, but won't work.
