Will firmware update V4.2.28 work with ReadyNAS NV+ model RND4000?

And it won't work.

You got the email by mistake.  4.1.14 is the most recent production release for the NV+ v1.  There's a 4.1.15-T3 "beta" available here which is stable and has a couple of security patches.

I have the same issue - ReadyNAS NV+ - received an email re: 4.2.28, but then remote update function on console claims 4.1.14 from Nov 2014 is the latest firmware for my device.  

When you say a version with security patches is available "here" - I didn't see a link - where should I find it?  Are there any issues with compatability across the NV+ series or is the 4.1.15 T3 ok for all of them?

It should work with all sparc platforms.
