As  I mentioned in the PM, you can try to log into the NAS web ui - if you can, then you have the correct password.

The web ui includes an email recovery option, but that has never worked for me.  A method that does work is to do an OS reinstall from the boot menu (NOT a factory default).  That will reset the password back to password - letting you log in, and change it to something else.

The OS reinstall will also

  1. reset the network to use DHCP with no bonding
  2. disable volume quota (set on the volume settings wheel).

Re: after installing a VPN free app I cannot access my nas again...

You are going to have to give a lot more information if you want assistance.

What model number and OS is the NAS running?

You installed a VPN where:  the NAS. your PC, your router?

And what VPN did you install?

If you installed the VPN on your PC, see if that VPN has a setting called "Allow local (LAN) access when using VPN" and enable it or "Use default gateway on remote network" and disable that.

Can you ping the NAS from the PC?

Have you tried rebooting the PC?

What happens if you open CMD and enter

net use * /del /y
net use t: \\NAS-IP-ADDRESS\data /user:admin NAS-ADMIN-PASSWORD

substituting the real NAS IP address and admin password for the placeholders in caps?

Be careful with the typing - both the spaces and the two different slashes.  Note these are two separate commands, they need to be entered on differerent lines.

Re: after installing a VPN free app I cannot access my nas again...

For this test, the username has to be admin, and the password has to be the NAS admin password.

Maybe reboot the PC, and then try the test again.

Re: after installing a VPN free app I cannot access my nas again...

net use t: \\192.168.1.199\data /user:admin admin

like this?

then i tried, after rebooting,

net use t: \\192.168.1.199\data /user:da*********mo@gmail.com  admin

then

net use t: \\192.168.1.199\data /user:da*********mo@gmail.com  @mypasswrod@@

does the syntax is correct?

Yes, but with the NAS admin password at the end (instead of repeating the username).

Note this won't work if the NAS admin password is still set to password.

No - that password format won't work for this.

Just the first command (which should mount the full data volume of the NAS as drive letter T).

Is admin the password  that you use with the NAS web admin ui?

Are you certain you typed it correctly?

But as I tried to say before, accessing the data volume requires the username to be admin.

If you want to test those credentials, you need to change \data to \sharename (using a real sharename of course)

Is the PC telling you the password is incorrect?  Or are you getting a different error? (Posting it in English would be helpful).

You might want to try changing the admin password to remove the @ symbol(s), and see if that makes a difference.  I don't think it's a special character in the windows CLI, but it's also not a character I've used in my own NAS admin password.
