after changing a weak battery (2,6v) the boot is stuck at 0%. Invisible at raidar, responding to ping
I will tempt an alternativ boot using the reset button.
Can I pull off all the disk and repair the 6.6 firmware with a special boot ?and after that just reinstall the disk ?
Do I need to put an empty disk in ?
a USB key ?
I have a copy of alll tha is on the disk, but I prefer not reorganize 6 TB of data and learn how to get out from a such situation.
thank's

No, you don't need to open anything on your firewall.
Your 4GB root volume was filled up with a large MySQL database. I moved that to the data volume and created a symlink.

Re: can't boot after battery removing
USB Boot Recovery only helps if the problem is on the internal flash. That sounds unlikely with these symptoms.
Have you been getting any SMART errors recently?

Re: can't boot after battery removing
it's a second hand NAS for me, so I don't know everything. I have replace two disc with smart errors and ata errors, and have no smart alert any more. This morning it was stuck at 99% but reacheable with raidar, and all shared folder seen from my mac. raidar sait in orange "the admin page service is no on" or something like tha and it was not possible to load the admin.
So what the receipe ? <fairy tales mod on>
- pull out all the disk,
- boot on an USB disk (I supposed the battery remove touch the firmware but as you say it'd perhaps the wrong path)
- re-instal the 6.6
- put the disk back in
I don't know anything on the point 2, and forget the half of the 3

Re: can't boot after battery removing
USB Boot Recovery is not some "magic" fix for any problem. I wouldn't try it at this point as if anything it's only likely to create more problems.
Are you seeing "Management Service is Offline" in RAIDar?

Re: can't boot after battery removing
Yes that was the message.
I tried 2 reboot.
I got a proc-sys-fs-binfmt_misc... after the first reboot.
stuck at 0% after fsck included this morning after six hours at 0%
I will begin by a boot with a push on the reset button, wich mod choose ?
OS reinstall ?
do Ineed to pull the disc out ?
will it put 6.6 back ?
thanks for your help
