Using this link to download Go:

https://golang.org/doc/install?download=go1.7.4.linux-armv6l.tar.gz

after installing like so:

wget https://storage.googleapis.com/golang/go1.7.4.linux-armv6l.tar.gz

tar -C /usr/local -xzf go1.7.4.linux-armv6l.tar.gz

export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/go/bin

i get:

# go
-bash: /usr/local/go/bin/go: No such file or directory

Re: failed to install Go progamming language

Hi jaredbidlow,

Has this worked before on your ReadyNAS.

I am not really an expert about Go programming but I think its not something that can be used in the ReadyNAS.

Could you explain how are you going to use this on the ReadyNAS? Will you be running the programming language on the ReadyNAS?

Re: failed to install Go progamming language

I'm going to use a tool which is only available in Go, specifically https://github.com/zenhack/websocket-proxy/blob/master/README.md
This is the first time trying to install Go. I have no clue what to do except try compiling Go from source, but that seems unnecessary.

Re: failed to install Go progamming language

Hi jaredbidlow,

As I was reading, it might be best if you try the installation guide for a custom location. I think the guide mentioned using GOROOT.

Also, it might be best if you get some instructions from their support.
