Re: file explorer for Readynass Duo V2?
Can't imagine a file explorer add-on being too resource intensive for the SPARC platform. Honestly if I need to manage files on the NAS itself I'll use SSH, and with enabling SSH that allows you to also use an SCP client like WinSCP for the Windows side or Cyberduck on the OS X side.

I am Unix illiterate and have avoided ssh or rsync type of utilities. However, if there is a good GUI wrapped around ssh then I can consider it.

Seems easier to sell off your NAS and get a better Netgear NAS or a totally different brand of NAS.
I might consider getting an Ultra, or Synology or something.

The Ultra doesn't have a file manager either...
Ajaxplorer works well, but does have its own limitations (it's php based)
Atm, i use midnight commander (command line file manager, accessed via ssh), installed via ssh (with apt-get).

FileZilla is proper.
Is there another way to connect to my server apart from browsers?

Why is so complicated to have file manager/explorer....it is so frustrating...I'm really thinking to buy Synology NAS, because their software is perfect..
