iSCSI disconnects/not reconnecting linked to CHAP?
Hi Again Everyone,
After doing a bit of playing with our server that has the NAS folders mapped to it I found I can disconnect and reconnect any drive with CHAP disabled but if CHAP is enabled and the connection drops itself or i manually disconnect it then the only way to reinstate the connection is to reboot the server. As much as this is an easy fix it is getting slightly tedious now so if anyone could shed any light on this that would be great.
I mean I can see an obvious fix, just remove CHAP from the volumes but I would also like some advice on if that is a reasonable idea.
Case Number #16163856
cheers
Matt

just to inform people I have been dealing with Netgear support over this and they simply told me to turn off CHAP on all drives
